I didn’t leave the old path to chase money or a lifestyle.

I chose a different way because I refused to build my life around someone else’s rules — and wanted to create income that could move with me, without losing myself in the process.

In my early twenties, I chased experiences.. loud booze-filled nights, constantly 'being busy', anything to feel alive. But when the noise faded and the world went still, I realized how empty I had become trying to fill a life that didn’t feel like mine.

When the medical path I was preparing for didn’t open, I chose the unknown instead. I dropped out of college, bought a one-way ticket to Hawai‘i, and left behind everything familiar to stop living a life written by someone else.

On the Big Island, I lived off-grid, very remote. No electricity. No Wi-Fi. Life became simple and I remembered what mattered. Presence. Meaning. Being more than your schedule or income and how much you 'make'.. outside of the material world.

But I also learned this: peace without purpose becomes its own cage.

I returned home and pieced together work.. brand ambassador roles, different gigs, eventually becoming a luxury nanny to save up money to travel again. From the outside, my life looked beautiful.

Underneath, I was exhausted. It became a pattern of feast and famine to make a living.
Always on someone else’s schedule & always starting over (which becomes unsustainable over time).

Travel later introduced me to an Australian who I met on the sidewalk my first trip out of the US. We built our relationship across countries and time zones, spending years doing long-distance while intentionally building stability and a future that could actually support us.

Today, we’re living together and building a business that allows us to work from anywhere..without sacrificing our health, our relationship, or our peace.
